What is the Patient Participation Group (PPG)?
A group of people joining together on a voluntary basis, working in co-operation with the doctors and nurses on behalf of and representing patients to enhance the Practice.

When does the Committee meet?
We meet every two months at The Health Centre, Haggis Gap, Fulbourn, from 6.15 – 7.15 pm. We are a small group of 10 – 12 local people including a GP and members of the practice management team; Please ask the Fulbourn Reception team for the next meeting date.
An AGM/ Open meeting will be held annually
Local residents are invited to attend the AGM, or any other meeting if you wish to voice concerns relating to the Health Centre

What has the PPG achieved so far?
Physiotherapy services maintained following a local petition
A new photo-board with pictures with names of all staff
Secure cycle parking with a grant from Cycle Cambridge
Automatic external doors and power assisted lobby doors
Notice boards with lively rotating displays of local events and health related information for all ages. Artwork donated by Arts and Minds and the Primary School.

Who are the members of the Patient Participation Group?
Interested patients who are registered with the Health Centre
A member of the Parish Council
A representative from the Practice will be in attendance at all meetings

Can I too join the Committee?
How can I tell the PPG about my concerns or views of the Practice?
The group welcome new members, particularly in the younger age group.
Please contact the PPG Secretary If you are interested in joining the PPG either as a correspondence only member or as a member of the PPG itself. The secretary will also be pleased to hear from you if you wish to express your views on the Practice or to find out the dates of the upcoming meetings:
